what is Color Theory?

  Color theory is the study of how colors interact, combine, and influence one another in art and design. It helps artists create visually harmonious compositions and convey specific emotions or moods. The foundation of color theory is based on the color wheel, which organizes colors into primary, secondary, and tertiary groups. Primary colors (red, yellow, blue) are the basic building blocks of all other colors. Secondary colors (green, orange, purple) are created by mixing two primary colors. Tertiary colors result from mixing a primary color with a secondary color, such as red-orange or yellow-green.
